What criteria should I use to choose my large brazier cover?
1. A handle made of mahogany wood and not steel. The mahogany wood handle prevents heat transmission and makes handling much easier. The steel handle will get very hot and you may get burned.
2. Holding pins in the centre of the hearth.
Otherwise, the damper cover may not be held in place and will allow air to pass through, which will prevent the fire from being extinguished.
What criteria should I use to choose my brazier damper cover?
1. Retaining edge and retaining wedges on the center of the plancha. Otherwise, the large lid will not be maintained. It will slip and may fly out of the brazier more easily.
2. Anti-corrosion treatment: no rust, more pleasant to use and for putting glasses and utensils.
